O'Malley's O'Malleys bar, in the former French Concession is arguably Shanghai's most popular drinking spot. The bar itself is in a lovely old house with a pretty and quaint beer garden that is a great place to sit out during the summer months. This place rightly publicises itself as a "typical" Irish bar, and the Irish bar men serve up a great pint of Guiness. There are other things to drink too however, and the bar does some good pub grub. It's a nice place to meet people and the big sports events (rugby, football etc.) attract a huge crowd who watch them on the massive TV screen in the garden.
